Ray Mine

Kearny, Pinal Co., AZ

From Superior we headed south on Highway 177 into the Dripping Springs Mountains. Our first stop was at the Ray Mine, a huge open pit copper mine. There’s a scenic overlook where you can look down into the mine. We also picked up a few specimens from what was laying along side the road into the overlook.
