MICROMOUNT BOXES

These are from a new supplier. They are much better than the boxes I have been supplying- Lids are interchangeable, and fit in any position. There is also no mold flash to trim. And on top of all that, the price is lower!

“US Standard” size (if there is such a thing)

These are the boxes used by most of the micromounters I know in the US. They are 7/8 X 7/8 X ¾ inches (22.2 X 22.2 X 19 mm) outside dimensions. Black bottom/clear top, clear bottom/black top, all black, all clear- your choice.

Price: US$ 0.28 each for black bottom/clear top. US$ 0.24 each for any other configuration, in any quantity, plus actual shipping costs (over the standard S&H charge for specimens if ordered in combination.)

CORKS

We can supply tapered corks in 3 sizes:

All sizes, plain $ 0.05 each, or black (painted) $ 0.08 each, any quantity.

Standard S&H charges apply. They don’t weigh much!

PAPER FOLD-UP BOXES

1 X 1 X ½ in. deep $ 0.03 each.

We may have to charge additional S&H for large quantities. Time will tell.

GELATIN CAPSULES

#0 empty gelatin capsules. Great for storage or shipment of small or powdery specimens. Can also be used for mounting powdery or hygroscopic specimens. They fit (diagonally) in a standard micro box.

$ 0.05 each, any quantity. Standard shipping applies.

TACK

We can now supply tack.

This material is a little different from the blue stuff we are used to. It’s a bit less tacky, and it’s white (or actually off-white).

It holds well, but is easier to remove than the blue stuff. Everyone who has tried it so far likes it.

$ 3.00 for 100 grams.
