| The
"Bloomfield Show" (officially the Gem, Mineral-Fssil Show &
Swap of the Lawrence County Rock Club) is a large indoor and outdoor show
held at the Monroe County (IN)Fairgrounds. This was its 39th year, not all at
this location. It had been held in the past in Bedford, IN. |

| In
addition to the outdoor area, part of which can be seen in the first picture,
there are three large buildings. Two are end-to-end. This is a view looking
down those two buildings. I set up a booth here in the third building for the
first time. My booth can be seen in the left picture below. My friends Sheila
and Dave Bergmann also sold here for the first time this year. Their booth is
seen in the right picture below. |

| This
is an enjoyable, low-key show, especially with a meeting of the Friends of |
|
| Mineralogy,
Midwest Chapter during the show. Attendance was a bit lower than |
|
| previous
years, but perhaps the weather was too good! |
